The Westchester quintuplets who debuted on the world stage two months ago will star in a new show Monday on family life.

“Home & Family,” airing Monday through Friday on the Family Channel from 1 to 3 p.m., will track the lives of the five children over the next year, featuring issues that range from feeding to funding. The three girls and two boys were born to Patty and Scot Shier Jan. 23 after the couple had tried to conceive for more than five years.

The show, to be hosted by Cristina Ferrare and broadcast live from Universal Studios, will feature four to six subjects per show. As part of the program’s ongoing life series, “Home & Family” will follow the Shiers to the pediatrician and feature the family’s neighbors and friends pitching in to help feed and diaper the kids.

The quints will guest-star almost weekly. “Home & Family” spokeswoman Lisa Bernfeld said the Shiers were chosen for the program to reach the growing number of people who are having multiple births.

“We thought showing all the facets involving the quints would be interesting, since it would show how people deal with this kind of situation,” Bernfeld said.
