Tarzana : Intruders Rob Family at Gunpoint in Home

Share

Two men, one armed with a gun, robbed a Tarzana family of $18,600 worth of jewelry and cash earlier this week, police said.

The men entered the house in the 19200 block of Hatteras Street about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday and approached the family of four with a gun, Los Angeles Police Department Det. Jon Peters of the West Valley Division said.

As they held the family--including two young children--at gunpoint in a bedroom, the pair took Rolex and Cartier watches, credit cards and some cash, Peters said.

Police said the intruders may have entered through an unlocked sliding glass door. No one was injured, and no car was seen leaving the house, Peters said.

Police are still investigating.
