Tour Packages: No Strings Attached

Southern California-based Giovanni Tours has been packaging tours for seniors since 1969. Tours include air fare, two daily meals, pre-departure activities and literature for each tour. The company chooses first-class hotels, offers excursions at no extra cost and has a no-tipping policy.

* British Isles--17 days, departs July 8. Includes England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Extensive sightseeing. Price: $3,496.

Trips in the United States include:

* Branson, Mo., and the Ozarks--Seven days, departs Sept. 10. A week filled with many shows. Price: $1,396.

* New England Fall Foliage--Nine days through Boston, Plymouth, Cape Cod, Lexington and Concord, Mass., plus New Hampshire, Vermont, and Kennebunkport, Maine. Departs Oct. 2 and 5. Cost: $2,296.

* Alisal Ranch and Resort--Six days, departs Oct. 27. Includes golf, tennis and horseback riding. Price: $996, land only.
