Spring Shuffle at KCRW: Public radio station KCRW-FM (89.9) unveils its new schedule for the 2 to 2:30 p.m. weekdays time slot today with “Hollywood Wrap,” hosted by journalist Nikki Finke. On Tuesdays, the station will air “The Politics of Culture,” which examines where politics and culture meet. “Left, Right & Center,” a 13-week series on politics airing on Wednesdays, features revolving hosts, including writer Robert Scheer; Genevieve Wood, a moderator of TV discussions; Matthew Miller, economics editor of the New Republic; and political activist Arianna Huffington. “Bookworm” moves to Thursdays. “The Treatment,” a show about popular culture hosted by NPR entertainment critic Elvis Mitchell, will air on Fridays. Another new show, “This American Life,” hosted by NPR’s Ira Glass, premieres on Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. Each week, the show will look into a single theme--ranging from immigrant parents to the fear of Starbucks--with stories and monologues.
