Police are looking for the owners of about $50,000 worth of jewelry, electronics and other items found in a Costa Mesa home and believed to be stolen.

The items were recovered in a March 20 raid of a home in the 500 block of Hamilton Street.

“There was property everywhere--in the attic, underneath the kitchen table and in the headboards,” Det. Dave Andersen said. “We found two mink coats, valued at $8,000.”

Detectives were able to return the brown and white mink coats, which were taken during a home burglary, but most of the confiscated items have not been claimed, police said.
