From Times Wire Reports

A court ruled that enough evidence exists for a British arms dealer to face charges in the U.S. of supplying military equipment to Iraq in violation of an embargo. But lawyers for Paul Grecian, an arms manufacturer who spied on Iraq in the late 1980s for British intelligence, continued to fight an extradition request that they said was invalid. Grecian, who is being held in jail in South Africa, is fighting efforts to put him on trial in New Jersey for conspiring to sell U.S. artillery fuse components to Baghdad and committing fraud and perjury in the process. Grecian, 40, was arrested on an Interpol warrant in December, when he arrived in Johannesburg to visit his fiancee.
