Police Seek Identity of Man Killed by Car on Imperial Highway
PLACENTIA —
An unidentified man was hit by a car and killed Friday night on Imperial Highway near Rose Drive, police said.
The man, who appeared to be in his 60s, had no identification with him when he was struck by a car about 9:10 p.m. while crossing the street in a crosswalk, according to Lt. David Taylor of the Placentia police. The man died at the scene.
Police are seeking information about the man, who might have been a transient, Taylor said.
There are no charges pending against the driver of the car, Taylor said.
