Nine Conservancy Awards

The Los Angeles Conservancy will honor nine projects for excellence in historic preservation at its 15th annual awards luncheon Tuesday at the Biltmore Hotel.
Among the projects to be honored are the St. Andrews Bungalow Court and the Young Apartments, both rehabs of vacant and vandalized housing units; Angels Flight Railway; and the restoration of Saint Monica’s Catholic Church in Santa Monica, which was condemned after being damaged in the Northridge earthquake.
