It was the first time this season that Karros has homered in consecutive games. . . . Reliever Antonio Osuna extended his scoreless inning streak to 11 1/3 by retiring all five batters he faced. He has registered 14 strikeouts during that span. . . . Chad Fonville started at shortstop for the second consecutive game in place of Greg Gagne, who sprained his ankle Friday night. . . . With Sunday’s win, the Phillies avoided being swept in a four-game series by the Dodgers for the first time since 1962.
