* Re “Ecologist to Unabomber?” Commentary, May 17: After reading the excellent Bron Taylor column, I couldn’t help but yearn for our old “hippie days”--we wore love beads, smoked a joint and wore flowers in our hair when we went to San Francisco. We really were so benign. Peace.
