Splash Will Scrimmage Semipro Soccer Team

The Splash will scrimmage the champions of the Orange County semipro Premier League at 7 tonight at the Arena Soccer Park of Orange.

It is the team’s last scrimmage before competing June 1-2 at the Continental Indoor Soccer League Challenge Cup in Sacramento.

Long Beach State women’s basketball has added Kesha Wade, a prep standout from Duncanville (Texas) High, to its squad for the 1996-97 season.

Wade is a 5-9 forward who averaged 13.3 points, five rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.3 assists last season for Duncanville, which was 68-5 in her two years as a starter.
