Legal Advice for Homeowner Groups
A seminar entitled “Free Legal Advice” will be presented by the Greater Los Angeles chapter of Community Assns. Institute on June 5 at Pickwick Center, 1001 Riverside Drive, Burbank. The seminar will begin at 7:15 p.m. For information, call (310) 285-8286.
Homeowner association members may ask questions on such topics as enforcing governing documents, adopting new rules, imposing penalties and complying with California statutes. Seminar speakers will be attorneys Alan Schimmel, Daniel C. Shapiro, Laura Snoke and David Swedelson.
The event is free for those who respond by May 31 and $10 for at-the-door attendees.
The institute is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the education of homeowners who live in, and professionals who work for, homeowner associations, condominiums and stock cooperatives.
