Meeting Scheduled on Youth Master Plan
A one-hour community meeting will be held today to gather information for an Ojai Valley youth master plan.
The plan’s goal is to create strategies for making the valley a place where youngsters can reach their full potential. The plan’s catalyst is the increasing rate of youth violence nationwide that is expected to continue rising as the population of young people grows 25% over the next decade. The 7 p.m. meeting will be held at the Nordhoff High School cafeteria, 1401 Maricopa Highway.
