State Seeks to Revoke Psychologist’s License

Share

The state Board of Psychology has filed a request to revoke the license of David Francis Grey, a Ventura psychologist who was accused of sexually molesting several patients and of professional negligence.

Grey settled two civil cases in November and agreed at that time to voluntarily surrender his license.

He mailed the wall certificate of his license to the state board Jan. 30, the board’s documents show. But his license has yet to be officially revoked.

Grey is subject to the board’s disciplinary action for unprofessional conduct.

Board of Psychology Executive Officer Thomas S. O’Connor has requested that the board hold a hearing to decide whether to revoke or suspend Grey’s license and whether Grey should pay the board the costs of the case’s investigation and enforcement.

A hearing date has not been set.
