Lower Mileage

* Why doesn’t anyone report on the fact that not only are gas prices up, but the new oxygenated gas being produced to be more friendly to the environment produces lower mileage as well. The gasoline producers have developed the perfect product. One that costs more and is used up faster! I have noticed a 10% decrease in mileage with the new formula after a complete tune-up and fuel system flush.

It would be interesting to know the effect on mileage for different types of cars and trucks. If the increased price is due to this new refining process, even an increased flow of oil from Iraq will not lower prices.
