Lassiter Gets 2 in Mutiny Win

Kansas City’s Samuel Ekeme inadvertently directed Ray Lassiter’s shot past his goalkeeper, Garth Langerwey, to break a scoreless tie, and Tampa Bay added two more goals in a 3-1 victory over the Wiz before 9,551 on Wednesday in Kansas City.
Goran Hunjak scored in the 82nd minute at the end of a give-and-go with Guiseppe Galderisi for the Mutiny. Lassiter followed with another goal in the 85th minute.
Washington 3, San Jose 1--Steve Rammel scored in the 36th and 49th minutes for United, which won before 15,845 at Washington.
Raul Diaz-Arce opened United’s scoring in the 23rd minute. Rammel then scored on an assist from Marco Etchevarry to give United a 2-0 lead.
Rammel scored his eighth goal of the season on a header early in the second half.
Altimont Butler scored for the Clash in the 68th minute.
