Show Biz in Glendale: Groundbreaking for the 13-acre DreamWorks SKG animation campus in Glendale brought out the Big 3 on Thursday. . . . Two-year-old Edwin Chavez, above, seems oblivious to any risk from his perch on a slide at the Sepulveda Recreation Center in Panorama City.

Country Road: Nature lovers who once trespassed on the private land that became Wilson Canyon Park in Sylmar last year soon will have a more dignified way of getting in. On June 15, the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy will dedicate a tree-lined entrance to the park, complete with parking lot and restroom. . . . Until now, the site has been accessible only through a field west of Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
