Michael Fox; Television, Movie and Broadway Actor

Michael Fox, 75, an actor who for the past eight years played garment cutter Saul Feinberg on the soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful.” A native of Yonkers, N.Y., Fox was in films opposite such actresses as Mae West, Susan Hayward, Joan Crawford and Zsa Zsa Gabor. Among his motion pictures were “The Longest Yard,” “Young Frankenstein” and “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” He was a frequent guest on popular television series, including “Perry Mason,” “Cagney & Lacey” and “NYPD Blue.” Fox also acted in Broadway plays, including “The Story of Mary Suratt.” Behind the scenes, he was commissioned by Los Angeles’ KNBC-TV, Channel 4, to produce documentaries on such issues as women’s rights, prison overcrowding and welfare. Fox’s last episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful” will air June 18 on CBS. On June1 in Woodland Hills of pneumonia.
