Will to Secede: About 100 people attending a public forum on Valley secession on Saturday repeatedly expressed their dissatisfaction with City Hall and endorsed, if not secession, then the need to make government more responsive. Afterward, State Sen. Tom Hayden, who represents part of the Valley, said the forum in North Hollywood was enlightening. “What I learned today is the sense of indignation Valley people have,” he said. B1
