Delta Recalls Furloughed Pilots: The Atlanta-based carrier said it recalled the last 199 of its furloughed pilots. They will staff Delta’s low-cost service scheduled to begin this fall. Delta Air Lines Inc. also needs pilots to fill openings created by senior pilots who may take early retirement. Delta, which recently reported a record fiscal third-quarter profit, is soaring after enduring dismal business in the early 1990s.
