People / Spotlight on achievers : P.E. Award Goes to Kathy Stahlin

Kathy Stahlin, a physical education teacher at Webber Elementary School, has been chosen as the Outstanding Elementary Physical Educator for 1996 by the California Assn. for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

Stahlin, who has been teaching in the district for three years, was honored at an awards reception in Santa Ana.

She was recently hired by Cal State University Long Beach as a physical education instructor and will begin there in the fall, officials said.
