I really don’t think of the Angel operation as being “Mickey Mouse,” but I think I know which of the seven dwarfs is running things.

It’s getting tiring hearing, “What’s wrong with the Angels?” It’s far better to ask, “What was so right with the Angels in the first place?”
We’re talking about a team that was one of the worst, if not the worst, team in baseball in the second half of ’95 and yet was picked by many to win its division this year, despite losing its leadoff hitter in the off-season.
The Angels’ performance is not inexplicable, the expectations are.
