IRVINE--Feed your belly and your soul at the Taste of Orange County, June 21-23 at the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro. International cuisine from more than 40 restaurants plus live music are featured 5 p.m.-midnight Friday, noon-midnight Saturday and noon-10 p.m. Sunday. TEHACHAPI--Native American cultures from around the country are seen at the Tehachapi Indian Pow Wow, June 21-23 at the Summit of Tehachapi. Dance competitions, native food and arts and crafts are highlighted, 5-9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Daily admission: $5, general; $3, seniors and kids. SANTA BARBARA--Famous for its free-spirited revelry, the Summer Solstice Celebration once again fills downtown, June 22-23. Centerpiece of the 22nd annual event is the noon parade Saturday on State Street. A festival follows in Alameda Park, 1-5 p.m., with evening events in the County Courthouse Sunken Garden. On Sunday in the garden, a celebration for kids includes a concert by the Santa Barbara Symphony’s “Tiny Tots.” All events free. (805) 965-3396.
SANTA YNEZ--Eight wineries share their creations at the Summer Showcase, 6-9 p.m. June 29. In addition, an haute cuisine buffet and live music are offered at the gathering, held at the Santa Ynez Winery, 343 N. Refugio Road. $40. Reservations required. (800) 824-8584.
