Bausch & Lomb to Reorganize Domestic Operations: Bausch & Lomb Inc. said it will combine its U.S. contact lens and lens-care product businesses into a single division called North American Vision Care, bringing the structure of its domestic operations in line with those overseas. The reorganization plans follow an announcement in April that the Rochester, N.Y.-based company would merge the research and development operations of its contact lens businesses. The Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating whether Bausch & Lomb inflated sales of contact lenses in 1993 and whether it forced lenses on distributors. Bausch & Lomb stock fell 25 cents to $42.625 on the New York Stock Exchange.
