Police Arrest Man on Sexual Assault Charges
SIMI VALLEY —
A Simi Valley man was arrested on suspicion of raping a 49-year-old Las Vegas woman Saturday morning, police said.
The woman was sleeping in the bedroom of a relative’s home about 5 a.m. when Shane Scull, a 23-year-old acquaintance, allegedly entered the room and assaulted her, said Det. Kathy Shatzof the Simi Valley Police Department.
The woman left the residence and called police.
Scull was arrested at his Bolivar Court home and booked into the county jail on two counts of felony sexual assault, police said.
