Opportunity for Volunteering
Placerita Canyon Nature Center, 19152 Placerita Canyon Road, Newhall, needs volunteers to help with summer camp, the gift shop, trail maintenance, office help, computer input and nature programs. Docent training begins in September. Participants 18 and older will be trained to conduct hands-on nature programs, care for animals and lead interpretive hikes for children and adults.
