People put security signs in frontyards to ward off burglars, and alarm stickers in car windows to shoo away thieves. Now a Newport Beach company, Santiago SDS Inc., hopes to scare off kidnappers by putting decals on the clothing of children whose fingerprints and pictures would be in a database.
