Two-time national champion Jessica Davis captured the rhythmic gymnastics competition at Boston and a berth on the U.S. Olympic team.

Davis, from San Anselmo, Calif., easily won with an all-around score of 74.90. Finishing second was Natalie Lacuesta, who didn’t even compete on Wednesday.

Because of a stress fracture in her left leg, Lacuesta’s scores from the national championships were used, as allowed by rhythmic selection rules. Her 71.962 was good enough for second, with Tina Tharp finishing third in 71.875.
