Simulation Sciences Appoints Ronald Trepp as Finance VP

L. Ronald Trepp has been appointed vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Simulation Sciences Inc. in Brea. Trepp joined the company from Cimco Inc., where he was vice president and chief financial officer. Before that, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Computer Communications Inc.

* Mark A. Heacock has joined Santa Ana-based First American Title Insurance Co. as vice president-assistant regional counsel for the Mid-Atlantic region. He will be based in Washington, D.C.

* Takao T. Murakami has been named to the newly created position of vice president of Japan for Ingram Micro Inc., a Santa Ana wholesale distributor of microcomputer products. Murakami, who will be based in Tokyo, will help finalize the company’s strategy for entering the Japanese marketplace. He was previously president of R.R. Donnelley Japan K.K. Before that, Murakami was manager of service marketing, planning and promotion for General Electric Medical Systems, Asia.

* Robert Wilcox has been named director, OEM and licensing for Virgin Interactive Entertainment in Irvine. Before joining the company, Wilcox headed Fusion Marketing, an entertainment consulting firm, and before that was the head of marketing at Columbia Records, West Coast.
