City Plans Fireworks, Music to Mark July 4
The city will revive its Fourth of July celebration this year at La Habra High School.
The annual event was canceled several years ago because of financial constraints. But money is available in the budget this year, officials said, for festivities that will include a fireworks show, music by the country-western band Running Wild, and children’s activities.
The celebration begins at 6 p.m. Thursday at the school’s stadium, 801 W. Highlander Ave. Fireworks will be at 9 p.m. Cost of admission is $1 per person.
