SUN VALLEY —
A 45-year-old man was discovered stabbed to death near a gas station phone booth early Saturday, according to police.
Police said they were called at about 12:20 a.m. Saturday by a security guard who had just come out of a bar on San Fernando Road near Sunland Boulevard. Responding patrol officers found the man, whom police would identify only as a Latino, lying on a sidewalk, with several stab wounds to his chest.
