Amplifier Maker Is Bought for $5.5 Million

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Privately held amplifier maker Pacific Power Source Corp. has been acquired by Thermo Voltek Corp. in Woburn, Mass., for $5.5 million, Thermo announced Monday.
Pacific Power, based in Huntington Beach, had revenue of $5.7 million last year.
Thermo Voltek manufactures and markets instruments that test electronic systems and components for immunity to electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference, and provides related distribution and consulting services.
