College’s Agriculture Impact to Be Viewed
What will the proposed Cal State campus in Ventura County mean to the local agriculture industry? The president of the campus, J. Handel Evans, will discuss that topic at a breakfast meeting of the Pacific Agribusiness Alliance on July 16 in Oxnard.
Evans’ speech will cover what the new university will mean to the economic prosperity of Ventura County and how it will help meet employers’ future labor requirements.
Input from the audience will be welcome.
Registration is at 7:30 a.m., with a continental breakfast and the hourlong presentation beginning at 8 in the Radisson Suite Hotel at River Ridge, 2101 W. Vineyard Ave.
