Design Review Board’s Empty Slot to Be Filled
The deadline is Wednesday to submit applications for a seat on the city’s Board of Adjustment/Design Review Board.
In addition to grappling with design review issues, the board considers coastal development permits and requests for variances from the zoning code.
Members meet on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and are expected to visit sites and review plans for pending projects before the meetings. The board acts on 10 to 20 items each week, and members are paid $120 per month.
The City Council, which makes the appointments, will interview applicants at 6 p.m. next Tuesday at 505 Forest Ave.
Applications must be filed with the city clerk by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Information: (714) 497-0705.
