Supervisors Scheduled to Pick County Counsel
The Board of Supervisors is scheduled today to fill the position of county counsel, which has been vacant since Terry Andrus resigned about a year ago.
Officials have narrowed the field of candidates down to a few finalists including Acting County Counsel Laurence M. Watson, a veteran county attorney who is considered a strong contender.
The county counsel’s office prosecutes and defends civil actions involving Orange County and the Board of Supervisors.
