Dayle Keller Named Interim City Manager
Dayle Keller of Diamond Bar has been appointed interim city manager.
Keller, 52, will start her new job July 22, said Susan Cannan, Dana Point’s finance and administration director. She will oversee city operations while the search continues for someone to fill the position permanently.
Keller, who is not applying for the permanent position, has experience as a city manager in Beaumont and Taft, as well as 17 years of municipal administration experience. She also has been deputy city administrator in Pomona and is a part-time faculty member at Cal Poly Pomona.
Keller, appointed by the City Council, will succeed Stephen B. Julian, who is retiring after having served in Dana Point since 1993.
