Mobile Parks to Give $8,000 to Library
A group representing mobile home park owners throughout Ventura will present an $8,000 gift to Ventura Friends of the Library in an effort to ease financial woes plaguing local branches of the beleaguered county library system.
“We feel that Ventura’s libraries are an asset that this city can’t afford to lose,” Bill Schweinfurth of Mobile Home Park Owners of Ventura said. Schweinfurth will present the donation July 18.
Mobile home parks that contributed to the gift included Lemon Wood, La Posada, The Patrician, Country Estates, Ventura Marina, Imperial Estates, Buenaventura Estates and Stardust Estates.
