FORT WORTH, Texas —
Police said they were looking for those responsible for the fatal beatings of two small donkeys.
The pet donkeys were killed after being chased around their one-acre lot Monday on the outskirts of Fort Worth.
“They were chased and beaten. The female fell to the ground from heat exhaustion, but they continued to beat on her,” Police Officer Billy Robison said Thursday. He said the male donkey was also hit with clubs and was “chased into a pole, which broke his neck.”
