Missing Thousand Oaks Woman, 74, Sought
East county sheriff’s deputies were searching for a missing 74-year-old woman Friday night who had wandered away from her family’s Thousand Oaks home earlier in the day.
Chun Myung Chung was visiting family members in the 700 block of Calle Arroyo when she walked away about 10:30 a.m., said Sgt. M. Cole McDaniel.
Chung is from Korea, speaks no English and occasionally suffers from memory loss. She’s 5 feet tall, weighs 95 pounds, has short, gray hair and brown eyes. She has a hunched posture and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved pink shirt and brown pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call the east county sheriff’s station at 494-8292.
