Predrag Danilovic, who plays for the Miami Heat, scored 21 points Friday as Yugoslavia remained unbeaten with a 101-82 victory over Brazil.

Yugoslavia (4-0) would have to lose its final preliminary game against Puerto Rico on Sunday by a huge margin not to finish atop its six-team pool. It will advance to the quarterfinals regardless.

Yugoslavia shot 68% from the field in the first half in taking command against Brazil (1-3), and led, 55-31, at halftime. Danilovic was nine for 11 from the field, both misses from three-point range.

Dejan Bodiroga added 14 points for Yugoslavia and Vlade Divac of the Charlotte Hornets had 10 points and six rebounds in only 17 minutes.

Oscar Schmidt, who entered the game averaging 33.7 points, had only 14 on three-for-seven shooting in 21 minutes for Brazil.

The Brazilians can lock up a quarterfinal berth Sunday by beating winless South Korea. The only downside is that its quarterfinal opponent would be the United States.

Andrew Gaze scored 29 points and back-court mate Shane Heal added 28 as Australia clinched a quarterfinal berth with a 101-96 victory over Puerto Rico. Australia (3-1) can finish no worse than third in its six-team pool and the top four advance to the quarterfinals. Just as in its double-overtime victory over Brazil, defense again was the key for Australia. Australia held Puerto Rico to one field goal over the final 5 1/2 minutes as it overcame an 88-87 deficit.

Giorgos Sigalas scored 22 points and five teammates scored in double figures as Greece routed South Korea, 108-86; Lithuania outclassed Angola, 85-49.
