HemaCare Completes Placement of Stock

HemaCare Corp., a Sherman Oaks provider of blood-related products and services, said it completed a private placement of 1.2 million shares of its common stock, resulting in proceeds of $1.2 million.
The company said the money raised in the stock sale would keep it in compliance with listing requirements for the Nasdaq SmallCap Market.
