Storm Causes JetHawks to Slip
The JetHawks were held to four hits in a 6-1 loss to the Lake Elsinore Storm before 5,552 at the Diamond in Lake Elsinore, falling 6 games out of first place in the California League Southern Division with 13 games remaining.
Chris Dean’s home run in the seventh provided the only run for the JetHawks (27-30), who also slipped to 4 games behind the High Desert Mavericks in the race for the wild card.
JetHawk left-hander Trey Moore (5-5) gave up four runs in 7 innings, striking out nine.
