UNI Names Industry Veteran as President

Record industry veteran Henry Droz has been named president of UNI, the manufacturing and distribution arm of MCA Music Entertainment. MCA also hired former Arista sales chief Jim Urie as executive vice president of UNI.

* Jason Hervey, known for his role on the TV series “The Wonder Years,” has become a principal in Trident Entertainment, where he will become director of strategic alliances. Danila Koverman has been named director of creative affairs.

* Lorenzo Doumani has launched Doumani Media Group and will serve as president and CEO.
