* Edward Randall III was appointed to the board of directors of International Remote Imaging Systems Inc. of Chatsworth.

Randall is a private investor and was owner of Perceptive Scientific Instruments Inc.

* Douglas Schur was promoted to vice president of legal services and California business at WellPoint Health Networks Inc., a Woodland Hills managed care company.

Previously, Schur, who holds a law degree, worked for the law firms of Musick, Peeler & Garrett and Memel, Jacobs, Pierno, Gush & Ellsworth.

* Larry Kingen, has retired as chairman of the board of Burbank-based All Post Inc., a video post-production house that he co-founded, to pursue charitable work, the company said.

* Susan Abundis has been named regional vice president of the Bank of America’s Ventura Regional Commercial Banking Office. She will oversee all banking services provided to middle-market and small-business clients in Ventura County.

Prior to the assignment, Abundis was vice president and commercial banking manager of the Fresno Regional Commercial Banking Office.

* Casa Pacifica, the Camarillo home for abused and neglected children, has appointed four new board members:

Yolanda M. Benitez is superintendent of the Rio Elementary School District; Gary F. Farr, an insurance salesman, has been an active sponsor of Casa Pacifica for several years; Joseph L. Priske is CEO and co-founder of Priske-Jones Co., a Ventura-based development organization; and June Paschen of Camarillo, who along with her husband, Clay, owns nine McDonald’s restaurants, is currently the ways and means chairman for the Casa Pacifica Angels board of directors.

* Larri E. Jones has been appointed senior vice president and Ventura County manager for American Title Insurance Co. He will head the county’s operations from the firm’s new office at 950 Hampshire Road in Westlake Village.

Later, he will be based in a new American Title office in Ventura.

* Timothy R. Alburger of Ventura has joined Seneca Resources Corp. in Santa Paula as an environment coordinator. He will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, as well as coordinating the company’s ranching and oil production enterprises throughout Ventura County.

Alburger’s previous job was with Unocal, where he worked for six years as a district environmental specialist for the company’s Ventura operation.
