* International Remote Imaging Systems Inc., a Chatsworth maker of urinalysis workstations, has appointed Martin S. McDermut to the newly created post of vice president of finance and administration, and chief financial officer.

Before joining International Remote, McDermut was chief financial officer of Edudata Corp.

Dick Clark Productions Inc. in Burbank has named Paulette W. Lee vice president of legal affairs for its American Bandstand Grill restaurant division.

Lee was previously assistant general counsel for Airport Group International Inc., an aviation services company formerly named Lockheed Air Terminal Inc.
