DataWorks Moving to Irvine Spectrum

Having boosted its Orange County staff by nearly 50% over the last year, DataWorks Corp. plans to move its local operations from Garden Grove to a larger office in the Irvine Spectrum today.

The San Diego-based company makes business management software for manufacturing companies. DataWorks has 100 employees in Orange County, up from 67 a year ago, and the company plans to hire more programmers, designers and other workers in coming months, said spokeswoman Chris Jensen.
