There are currently more than 30,000 planned communities in California and by 2000, one of every three people in the state will be living in a planned community with a homeowners association, predicts the California Assn. of Community Managers, a trade group. The group, which represents about 1,000 community property managers, will hold its statewide conference Sept. 19 at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers. The group will discuss trends and take positions on legislative issues.
