Wildlife Art Display Planned at Library
A wildlife art display, hosted by Amigos de Bolsa Chica, will be presented from Oct. 18 to Nov. 16 at the Main Street Branch Library in Huntington Beach.
Titled “California Wildlife Art-Fest,” the exhibit will be held in conjunction with a city-sponsored reception for the opening of the International Watchable Wildlife Conference on Nov. 12.
Visual artists who have created drawings, paintings, sculptures, computer art and photography of wildlife subjects of California are invited to apply to participate in the display.
A percentage of proceeds from the artwork sold will go to support the Amigos’ efforts. Some pieces will be accepted for exhibition only.
