Colorado Appeal Rejected by NCAA
The NCAA Clearinghouse has rejected an appeal on behalf of Colorado linebacker Odell George for practicing in early August before the NCAA challenged his high school core classes, Coach Rick Neuheisel said in Boulder.
George, a freshman from Vista, Calif., now becomes a non-qualifier and must withdraw from the university.
“I’d like him to play for a junior college,” Neuheisel said.
