Ventura County sheriff’s deputies are seeking help finding a teenager in an unsolved Meiners Oaks kidnapping.
Deputies say a male youth kidnapped a woman about 10 p.m. April 4 at Maricopa Highway and El Roblar Drive. Authorities believe he entered the woman’s car and then held an object to her throat while commanding her to drive. She was forced to travel about two miles, at which point the teen got out of the car, sheriff’s deputies said. The woman was unharmed.
Authorities describe the teen as 16 to 18 years old, weighing 150 pounds with brown hair. He is between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall.
Deputies ask that anyone with information on the crime call CRIMESTOPPERS at 385-TALK.
